Matt’s journey to law came after a spinal injury prevented him from playing contact sport. This occurred a time when he was a member of the Brisbane Broncos’ Elite Player Development program in 2009. With an unwavering commitment to perform at the highest level, Matt has earned recognition in recent years by being selected as a:
1. Finalist in the Sports and Entertainment category of the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards; and
2. Rising Star by the Australasian Lawyer in 2023.

Outside of the office, you will find Matt spending time with his wife and 3 kids, at the gym or kicking the footy at a local park, where he will tell anyone that will listen to him that he's still got it.
